10 Years and Counting!

Today is our 10th wedding anniversary!!   Amazingly it doesn’t seem nearly that long, and yet it seems as though we have always been together.

In that 10 years, we have:

watched the 9/11 tragedy unfold,
grieved the loss of a child,
celebrated the birth of 2 wonderful children,
watched as relatives on both sides of the family went to be with the Lord,
seen friendships come, and friendships go,
seen the Lord provide for us financially when there seemed no way,
watched miracles take place as we’ve prayed for others,
grown in our relationship with each other,
grown in our relationshp with the Lord,
and many other amazing, and sometimes sad things that have shaped us.

What does the next 10 years hold?   Only God knows.  But regardless of who and what comes or goes, we know that a three cord strand (Jesus, Thomas and I) is not easily broken.

One Day

Anthony Mohney proposed to his long time girlfriend, Danielle, on Tuesday July 7. She said yes "I'd rather be married to you for one day than not to be married to you at all." Friends, family and strangers pulled together and on Saturday July 10 at 5:30 in the evening, Anthony and Danielle were married. The event made local and national news.

I just received word from his mother that Anthony went home to be with the Lord overnight. Anthony and Danielle were married, for one beautiful day.
