Homeschooling vs. Public Schools

The title sounds like this post is going to be deeply argumentative...but trust me it isn't. I know that the topic of homeschooling vs. public school can cause heated conversations in some circles. However, for the purpose of this post, lets just pretend that you don't really have a set in stone opinion or conviction yet. Maybe you've been tossing the idea around, but you have questions and concerns.

This post is to help you (hopefully) find information that may very well help answer your questions. All of these resources are from The Old Schoolhouse so they do lend themselves to being pro-homeschool, as am I. But don't let that stop you from reading. Not every family has the same circumstances, convictions and goals. You do what God has called you to do, and let Him do the rest!

First I'd like to offer this free e-book entitled Are Public Schools an Option for Christian Kids? This is free and you can go directly to the site to download your copy by clicking here, or on the link above.

What About Public School is a 2 page flyer that also offers helpful information to you as you contemplate taking the plunge!

Homeschool with Confidence is a 3 page brochure that covers topics such as "My in-laws are against homeschooling.", "How do I teach multiple age levels at one time" and "Won't they miss out on field trips?"

Finally, if you would like the opportunity to see some homeschool products for FREE (YES FREE), you can check out TOS Freebie Directory. The directory allows you to preview and even download samples of some products to get a more accurate understanding of them before you buy!

Also, if you want to see what it's like to homeschool, you can visit our homeschool by visiting our homeschool blog Learning Curve. Hope to see you there!
