Pumpkin Pie Dessert - Recipe

Are you hosting a fall get together, or going to a potluck?  Here is a recipe for a DESLISH pumpkin dessert.  It’s somewhere between pie and cake…but right in the middle of yummie!!  I just made one last weekend and have had to give our the recipe several times this week!

Pumpkin Pie Dessert

1 yellow cake mix
½ cup margarine, melted
3 cups pumpkin
½ tsp. ginger
½ tsp. cinnamon
1 ½ cups sugar
¼ tsp. salt
2/3 cup mil
1 tsp. cinnamon
¼ cup sugar

Measure 1 cup dry cake mix and set aside.

Combine remaining cake mix, ½ cut melted margarine and 1 egg.  Mix well, press into a greased 9X13 pan.   Mix together pumpkin, ginger, ½ tsp cinnamon, 1 ½ cups sugar, 2 eggs, salt and milk.  Pour over crust.

Mix reserved cake mix, 1 tsp. cinnamon, ¼ cup sugar.  Cut in 3 TBSP margarine to form crumbs.  Sprinkle over top of pumpkin.

Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes (until the center is firm and set).

Serve warm or cold.
